WebRTC Recording Modes
This article focuses on how to setup agents who are using Xima WebRTC extensions for call recordin
Only applies to WebRTC Agents
Agents who are using UC phones instead of WebRTC extension built in Xima will not have recording controls inside of Xima. Recording rules and controls would be managed inside of their UCaaS platform.
Set Recording Mode for WebRTC Agents
- Log in to Xima CCaaS.
- Along the left-hand side in the navigation pane, hover over the agent icon and select "Agent Licensing"
- Hover over the agent name for which you'd like to apply the recording mode. A "..." menu icon will appear next to their name.
| Note: if the "..." menu icon does not appear, it is likely a non-WebRTC agent and therefore cannot be setup for recording rules inside of Xima CCaaS
- Select "Edit"
- Scroll down to "Recording Mode" which will be set to Default
- Select the applicable recording mode for the agent.
- Save your changes
