WebRTC Outbound DID

Assigns an outbound DID to a skill so its queue callback calls present that number as the caller ID instead of the account's default outbound number.

When a skill places an outbound queue callback (QCB) call, it can present a specific DID as the caller ID instead of the account's default outbound number. Building the outbound DID itself — registering an Outbound SIP Extension and assigning it an Outbound ID Label — is covered on SIP Extensions; this page covers assigning one of those labels to a skill for use on its callback calls.

Callback Caller ID

Callback Caller ID is a field on the Queue Callback tab of a skill's settings that assigns an Outbound ID Label to that skill's callback calls.

  1. Navigate to Contact Center > Manage Skills
  2. Select the skill to configure, then select the Queue Callback tab
  3. Select the desired label from the Callback Caller ID dropdown
  4. Select Save

Once assigned, outbound queue callback calls placed by the skill use the selected label's associated DID as the caller ID, rather than the account's default outbound number.
