Account Codes

Account Codes are used to categorize and track calls for reporting, billing, or operational analysis purposes.

These codes can be applied to calls manually or automatically, depending on system configuration.

They are commonly used for cost allocation, departmental tracking, or compliance-driven reporting requirements.

Accessing Account Codes

  1. Log into Xima CCaaS with an account that have Supervisor or Admin permissions
  2. Navigate to User Management > Account Codes
  3. All created account codes can be viewed and manage from this page

Manage Account Codes for Agents

All UC and CC agents will be listed on the left side of the box and Account Codes will be listed on the right side of the box.

When selecting one agent, they can be individually assigned one or more Account Code(s).

When selecting multiple agents, they can assigned together with one or more Account Code(s).

At the bottom-right of the page, clickSave to apply all changes.

Freeform Account Codes

Located at the bottom-right of the box, Allow Freeform Account Codes can be toggled to allow or disallow agents to freely enter a custom account code that is not listed when assigning account codes in CC-Agent Client.

Uploading New Account Codes

A text document (.txt file extension) is required to upload a list of account codes. Each line in the text document is the name of the account code. Typically, this file is exported from another site or phone system.

  1. At the bottom-left of the page, click Bulk Upload
  2. Select a text documentation and click Open

Creating New Account Codes

  1. At the bottom-left of the page, click Create New Account Code
  2. Enter an appropriate name of the code
  3. Click Submit to create the new account code
