In-Browser Web App
Configures the 3CX Web Client as a browser-based calling device for a Contact Center agent.
The 3CX Web Client is a browser-based application that can be used in place of a desktop softphone or physical phone for a Contact Center agent's device.
Official 3CX User Manual: 3CX Web Client
CCAC Still RequiredThe Web Client displays only the internal 3CX extension for a Contact Center call — not the skill, caller information, or account codes. An agent must be signed into the Contact Center Agent Client (CCAC) to see the call details; without CCAC open, the agent cannot answer the call from the Web Client.
Logging In
- Open the account details email sent to the extension's user by 3CX
- If single sign-on is enabled for Google or Microsoft, sign in with those credentials
- Otherwise, select the password-setup link in the email to create a password, then sign in using the extension's email address or number and the new password
- If two-factor authentication is enabled for the extension, register a 2FA app on first login
Enabling Two-Factor AuthenticationTwo-factor authentication is enabled per extension in the 3CX portal, under
Users > Edit User > General.
