Target Platform Configuration authenticates and connects CCaaS to whichever phone system platform is in use — NetSapiens, RC/ACO, 3CX, Metaswitch, or another supported system. This must be completed before any SIP extensions can be registered — see SIP Extensions. The connection method and fields differ by platform: some authenticate through OAuth, others through manually entered SIP and API details.

Accessing Target Platform

Target Platform is accessible to accounts with Admin permissions.

1. Navigate to Admin (System) > Target Platform Configuration
2. A platform-specific settings window opens for entering the connection details

NetSapiens

Authenticates CCaaS to a NetSapiens platform and configures the connection settings so SIP extensions can be registered and calls routed through the system.

RC/ACO

Authenticates CCaaS to an RC/ACO account so SIP extensions can be registered and calls routed through the platform.

3CX

Connects CCaaS to a 3CX platform by entering its SIP server details and manually loading its platform users.

Metaswitch

Connects CCaaS to a Metaswitch platform by creating a virtual handset subscriber and entering its SIP and CommPortal API details.
